A worn off timing cam gear can also result a rough idle problem. All these above point at one problem which is a worn timing gear hub. If you don't replace it on time the timing chain may slip and cause further damage to your engine.

As of 2021 we provide you with UPGRADED cam sprockets! Our cam sprockets (HEWERK brand only!) have been fitted with improved 40CrMo alloy pin and drive plate inside the sprocket. This prevent quick wear and provides a lifetime fix.
On well known selling platforms all those cheap Chinese sprockets (no brands, no names in white box) have been fitted with cheap/weak C45 Steel alloy pins which will wear out as soon as your warranty ends.

The price is for the pair. M271 intake and exhaust gears. Although often inlet timing gear cause problems but it is recommended to replace both sides at the same time.

Fits: M271: C180, C200, C230 - Kompressor engines only! It will not fit the later M271 turbocharged engines which were produced FROM 2009!
